Are You Showing Your Patients Enough Appreciation?

Thanksgiving is nearly here and despite the challenges of this year, we have much to be thankful for, including our chiropractic patients. Now is a great time to think about how you can express your gratitude to your patients, which will help foster a positive patient experience. Here are a few tips to show your patients your gratitude.

Ensure Your Practice is Patient Friendly

For first-time chiropractic patients, getting adjusted can be intimidating. Imagine you are stepping into your waiting room for the first time. How do you feel? Are your surroundings comfortable or clinical?

Providing your patients with small gestures of kindness can go a long way in improving patient experience. It may be more challenging to make these gestures due to COVID, but offering beverages and playing relaxing music can go a long way.

Maintain Patient Relationships

If you want to leave a positive impression on your patients, you have to do more than be nice during their appointment. Encourage your patients to connect with you on social media. Send out thank you cards after their first adjustment. Send out a birthday card. Thoughtful gestures can keep your chiropractic practice top-of-mind. Not only will a satisfied patient continue to come to your practice, but they will get their friends and family to come, too!

Happy Staff Make Happy Patients

When it comes to creating a positive patient experience, your staff are your frontline workers. If your staff is unhappy, it will surely trickle down to your patients. It is your responsibility to create an open, healthy, and positive work atmosphere so your staff can express concerns rather than simmer in their unhappiness.

Staff appreciation isn’t just to make sure your patients are happy. A well-functioning practice is a successful practice, and that means taking the time to show your staff how much you appreciate them.
