While coaching one of our great members today, I was telling her that another one of our members broke her record for most patients served in one day. The first thing that she said to me was, “Practices follow people.” When I asked her what she meant by that, this is what she said…
“I also spoke to the record-breaker last night. She was ecstatic and I’m not surprised. She is dating a new guy. She is feeling good about herself. Practices follow people.”
I was smiling on the other end of the phone for two reasons.
- She was 100% right, and it is fun when the student reminds the teacher.
- I was excited to share the words of wisdom with my own team the next day.
So there it is… your practice follows you. When you are up, the practice is up. When your mind is cluttered, your desk is cluttered. When you are feeling unworthy, your bank balance will prove you right.
Look for ways to stay hopeful, enthusiastic, and passionate about your practice and watch what happens.
